What is Cosmetic Dentistry?

Cosmetic Dentistry focuses primarily on how your teeth look by using veneers, cosmetic bonding, Invisalign and Professional Whitening. Your general dentist may or may not offer these procedures. These aren’t things we do from time to time - it’s all we do.

Every smile is unique. Your best smile is when you can smile without feeling self-conscious. Your smile should make you feel confident and reflect your personality.

Veneers - Thin material made of ceramic or resin that covers the front of your teeth. Veneers can help restore teeth where the shape, size or color needs to be improved. There are times that your teeth need to be adjusted to make room the the veneer. Sometimes the teeth don’t need to be adjusted at all depending on what you are trying to achieve with your smile.

Crowns - Similar to veneers, these cover both the front and back of your teeth and are used when the teeth are more worn or damaged. Or where the color needs to be changed more dramatically.

Cosmetic Bonding - Resin material that matches your teeth is added to blend with your current teeth. Since the bonding material doesn’t respond to whitening procedures, you want to make sure that you are happy with the color of your teeth before any bonding is completed.

Clear Braces - Sometimes all you need is to put your teeth in the right position to make your smile its best. We use Invisalign because we feel that it’s the most predictable and best product on the market today. Products that are available through online services don’t have the ability to move your teeth like Invisalign does (one of the reasons that Smile Direct went out of business is because they couldn’t deliver on the promises they made to people).
